Who should take the course?

The course is mainly designed for PhD students and master students with a research motivation. The course requires preliminary knowledge on computer systems (operating systems, architecture and databases) and system-level programming skills.

Grading policy

Submission of any work done by others will result in an F grade in the course, with the academic integrity violation reported to the University administration for further action. Violations include plagiarism, and usage of material available on the internet without proper attribution.

  • Class participation (10%)
  • In-class presentation (50%): peer grading form [link]
  • Project (40%):
    • Mid-term presentation (20%)
    • Final demo & code submission (20%)
